All personal data processing performed by TPA is guided by the principles of lawfulness, loyalty and transparency, being the data collected adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the respective purposes. 

Purposes of personal data processing 

Within the scope of this website, TPA collects and processes personal data for three exclusive purposes:

  1. Sending a newsletter with legal information;
  2. Conducting pre-contractual procedures regarding submitted applications for recruitment;
  3. Operation and maintenance of this website.

 Personal data collected

The categories of data collected are:

  1. The name and e-mail address, for the newsletter;
  2. Name, address, date of birth, phone number, academic qualifications and professional experience, in relation to recruitment;  
  3. Data required for the functioning of cookies, in accordance with our Cookies Policy.

Lawfulness

Except for essential cookies, the personal data processed by TPA is collected, exclusively, by initiative and with the consent of the owner:

  1. Through our website or writing document, in case of subscription to our newsletter;
  2. By e-mail sent by the holder, in case of recruitment;
  3. Through the selection of cookies preference.

The holder may, at any time, withdraw the consent provided through three different ways:

  1. Unsubscribe from the newsletter through the "Remove" option available at the bottom of the page of all our newsletters;
  2. By written contact to the e-mail address info@tpalaw.pt;
  3. Regarding cookies, change of cookie preferences in the Cookie Policy.

In regards to essential cookies, their use does not depend on the consent of the owner, as they are essential to the operation and maintenance of this website, there is a legitimate interest of the TPA in their use. 

Deadlines for storage 

Personal data will never be transmitted to third parties and we will retain them for as long as they are strictly necessary or until their consent is withdrawn. 

As for the applications sent to us, they will be duly deleted at the end of each recruitment process.

Information Security 

TPA has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of the information entrusted to it.  

Data subject rights 

To the personal data holders are guaranteed all the rights provided by law, including the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data;
  • Rectify the data in case of inaccuracy or incompleteness thereof; 
  • Request the deletion if they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were processed, or if consent was withdrawn;
  • Ensure the portability of personal data;
  • Submit a complaint to the competent control authority.
