With its ruling of 26 November 2024 in Case 1205/22.9T8CTB.C1, the Coimbra Court of Appeal clarified the court's understanding of the clause, widely used in the real estate market, which waives the need for the parties' signatures to be certified, committing the parties not to invoke this lack of formality, so as not to invalidate the deal.
