The International Organization for Migration is developing a new project to support British Citizens and their family members that are establishing residency in Portugal. This project will be carried out until March 2021 and will be officially launched on 7th July 2020 via the Webex platform. The information will be provided online and will be available to all.
International Organization for Migration will also provide specific support to individuals who face certain challenges, namely people with disabilities or chronic illness, people who face language and literacy barriers or barriers in accessing relevant technology.
The project is being financed by the Government of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and it is coordinated by the International Organization for Migration. The implementation will occur in following counties:
- France;
- Spain;
- Poland;
- Slovakia;
- Italy;
- Germany;
- Portugal
The purpose of this initiative is as follows:
- To raise awareness about the importance of residency regularization procedures;
- To help hare information on residency requirements;
- And finally, to provide direct support to UK Nationals and their family members to complete their applications before the end of the year.
