On July 14th, 2022, Decree-Law no. 2/2022 came into effect, approving the Agreement between Portugal and Morocco on the Employment and Stay of Moroccan Workers in Portugal. This agreement comes in an attempt to eradicate illegal immigration and human trafficking, and also allows a further deepening of the relationship between these two countries.
